According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 22.1 square miles (57 km2), all land.

As of the 2010 census,[4] there were 487 people, 222 households, and 172 families residing in the township.

There were 470 housing units at an average density of 21.2 per square mile (8.2/km2).

There were 222 households, out of which 17.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.5% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.1% were non-families.

18.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
