Alamgir M. A. Kabir (25 November 1911 – 10 January 1996) was a Bangladeshi police officer and recipient of the Independence Award (1978).
[2] Kabir joined the Indian Police, Bengal Cadre in 1932.
[4] He received the Independence Award for his role in population control in 1978.
[4][5] He was an adviser, with the rank of minister, of Shahabuddin Ahmed caretaker government.
