Alan Alexander Lowing (born 7 January 1988) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a right-back.
He made his first team debut for Rangers on 20 September 2005 in a Scottish League Cup match against Clyde at Ibrox.
[1] His first league appearance for the Gers was on 1 October 2005 when he replaced Barry Ferguson and played the final 13 minutes in Rangers 5–1 win over Dunfermline Athletic.
On 30 August 2008, Lowing signed for Clyde on loan until January 2009, along with fellow Rangers youth Paul Emslie.
[8] Putting together a string of impressive performances in his first season with Víkingur he signed a new two-year contract with the club on 12 September 2014.
