Albert J. Tomsic

Albert J. Tomsic (April 26, 1925 – July 7, 2012) was an attorney and Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives.

Following his military service, he attended the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating with a bachelor's degree in 1948.

[4] Tomsic was first elected to the Colorado house of Representatives in 1952 and sworn in in 1953.

In 1962, he ran for U.S. Congress, seeking to represent Colorado's 3rd congressional district.

[5][4] From 1957 to 1958, Tomsic served as the House Majority Leader, the first time the position was held by a Democrat in twenty years.
