In 1847, the family again relocated to Rock County, Wisconsin Territory and then back to New York in 1851 where he went to school.
[2][3] In 1879, Pound moved to Martinsdale, Montana Territory, and was in the sheep and real estate business.
In 1888, he moved to Missoula, Montana Territory, where he was involved with real estate.
[4] He died in Missoula, but is buried at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
