Albert S. Drew

Albert S. Drew (November 26, 1843-November 21, 1920) was an American business, civic, and political figure from Vermont.

A Republican who was a longtime participant in Burlington's municipal government, Drew was most notable for his service as the city's mayor from 1915 to 1917.

[1] During his career, Drew owned a shoe store, which he operated profitably until he sold it to new owners.

[1] He was an organizer of the fire department's Ethan Allen Engine Company, and served as a volunteer firefighter for more than 50 years.

[1][4] At his death, Drew's closest living relative was his uncle, Henry Davis of Burlington.
