Albert William Wright (24 September 1875 – 23 December 1938) was an Australian cricketer and pitch curator.
He played in 30 first-class matches for South Australia between 1905 and 1920 before taking over the preparation of the Adelaide Oval.
[1] Wright was a leg-spin bowler who began his first-class career at the age of 30 in December 1905.
In his second Sheffield Shield match, he took his best innings figures of 7 for 66 when South Australia beat Victoria.
[5][6] Wright married Clara Elizabeth Doran in Adelaide in April 1901.
