Alberto Palloni

Alberto Palloni (born April 29, 1949)[1] is an Italian-American demographer and sociologist who works for the RAND Corporation.

Young Professor of Population and International Studies, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

[3] Palloni is known for his demographic research on health, morbidity, and mortality.

[3] For example, he and John L. Hagan published a study in 2006 estimating that the death toll from the war in Darfur was much higher than estimated by the United States government.
