Albin Brag

Karl Gustaf Albin Brag (January 30 ،1878, near Söderköping − December 23 ،1937, Stockholm) was a Swedish architect.

[2] He designed factory and office buildings, as well as worker housing, for several large Swedish companies; notably in Hallstahammar, Fagersta, Stråssa, Köping and Nacka.

Notable examples are the Teachers' Rest Home, outside Stockholm and Arvedsons gymnastikinstitut [sv] in Lärkstaden, an area inspired by the English garden city movement.

Numerous apartment buildings in Aspudden and Midsommarkransen were of his design; commissioned by the development company, Byggnads AB Manhem [sv].

They are enclosed neighborhood buildings with ornate gables, bay windows and angled ceilings in a simplified Art Nouveau style, and give those areas their distinctive character.
