Albin Heinrich (1 March 1785 – 5 April 1864) was a Moravian geologist, educator, and writer of books.
Educated at the Altenburg Gymnasium, he went to the University of Vienna where he shifted from a study of the classics to natural sciences.
He went on outdoors trips with Josef August Schultes into Austria, Styria, Tyrol and other parts.
In 1813 he became a substitute teacher at the Catholic Gymnasium in Těšín and replaced Scherschnik after his death the next year.
He managed a library and natural history collection and in 1831 he moved to the Brno grammar school.
