Alec MacKaye

Alec MacKaye (born September 11, 1965) is an American singer and musician best known as a member of the DC hardcore bands Untouchables and the Faith.

[1][2] In the mid-1990s Alec joined the band the Warmers as a vocalist and guitarist.

Mondo James Dean, an anthology of poetry and short-fiction edited by Richard Peabody and Lucinda Ebersole, was dedicated to MacKaye.

His sister-in-law, Amy Farina was a member of The Warmers with Alec years prior to marrying his brother.

He is also featured on the cover of the Teen Idles' Minor Disturbance EP.
