Aleksandr Zheleznyakov

Aleksandr Borisovich Zheleznyakov (Russian: Алекса́ндр Бори́сович Железняко́в; born January 28, 1957)[1] is a specialist in design and production of rocket and space systems.

In 1989 he moved to the Raduga (Rainbow) experimental design bureau where he worked as a senior manager until 2001.

From 2001 to 2007 he worked as advisor to the Director and Chief Designer of the Central R&D Institute for Robotics and Technical Cybernetics in Saint Petersburg.

Since 1989 he has written 17 books and hundreds of articles popularizing the achievements of Russian and world astronautics.
