Alessia Padalino

[3][4] Padalino first represented the Netherlands Under–21 team in 2002, at the EuroHockey Junior Championship held in Alcalá la Real, Spain.

[5] She went on to represent the team again in 2004 at the next EuroHockey Junior tournament in Dublin, Ireland, winning gold medals at both events.

[9] After representing the Netherlands for 5 years in junior and senior competition, Padalino made the switch to the Italian team in 2010.

[10] Padalino's most notable performance with the team was at the 2011 Champions Challenge II in Vienna where she won a silver medal, losing 2–1 to Belgium in the final.

[11] Her final appearance for Italy was during the Hockey World League, at a Round 2 event in Valencia, Spain.
