Alexander Macfarlane (June 17, 1818 – December 14, 1898) was a Canadian lawyer and politician who served as a member of the Senate of Canada from 1870 to 1898.
Macfarlane was born in Wallace, Nova Scotia in 1818.
Macfarlane represented Cumberland in the Legislative Assembly of Nova Scotia from 1856 to 1867 as a Conservative member.
Macfarlane also served as chairman of the Central Board of Agriculture for the province during the 1860s.
