Alexandre Daguet (March 12, 1816–May 20, 1894) was a Swiss historian , politician and educator.

Buchon was a follower of the French utopian socialist Charles Fourier.

Buchon did not convince Daguet to follow Charles Fourier.

[4] He was the editor of the L'Educateur and he authored an education manual.

[2] After the 1847 Sonderbund War he was appointed to the rectorship of the Cantonal School of Graubünden.
