Alfred A. Arraj

Born in Kansas City, Missouri,[1] Arraj received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Colorado Law School in 1928.

He was a major in the United States Army during World War II, from 1942 to 1946, thereafter returning to his Springfield practice until 1949.

[2] On July 2, 1957, Arraj was nominated by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Colorado vacated by Judge Jean Sala Breitenstein.

He assumed senior status on August 31, 1976, and served in that capacity until his death on October 23, 1992, in Denver.
