Alfred Adams Wheat (June 13, 1867 – March 11, 1943) was an Associate Justice and Chief Justice of the District Court of the United States for the District of Columbia.
Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, Wheat received an Artium Baccalaureus degree from Dartmouth College in 1889 and a Bachelor of Laws from the Columbian University School of Law (now the George Washington University Law School) in 1891.
He was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 3, 1929, and received his commission the same day.
His service terminated on June 4, 1930, due to his elevation to Chief Justice of the same court.
