Alfred M. Wolin

[1] Wolin was born in Orange, New Jersey and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School.

He was a special assistant prosecutor for Union County, New Jersey in 1970, and was a legislative aide to United States Representative Matthew John Rinaldo from 1970 to 1972.

Wolin was confirmed by the United States Senate on December 8, 1987, and received his commission the following day.

He assumed senior status on September 18, 2000, serving in that capacity until his retirement on June 30, 2004.

He served as a Judge of the United States Alien Terrorist Removal Court from 1996 to 2004.
