Ali Naghi oglu Naghiyev (Azerbaijani: Əli Nağı oğlu Nağıyev; born 8 November 1958) is an Azerbaijani Colonel general, Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, Deputy Minister of the National Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan 3 (2005-2011).

[1] Naghiyev Ali Naghi oglu was born on 8 November 1958, in Babek District of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 5, 2014, Ali Naghiyev was appointed the Special Rank of State Judicial Counselor of the 3rd class.

[6] By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 27, 2019, Ali Naghiyev was appointed to the high military rank of lieutenant general.

[7] By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 7, 2020, Ali Naghiyev was appointed to the high military rank of colonel general.
