Alice Maio Mackay (born August 4, 2004) is an Australian filmmaker best known for writing and directing the 2023 queer horror films T Blockers and Satranic Panic.
[2] Since 2017, Maio Mackay has produced work under her own company, One Manner Productions.
[3] After directing a string of short films, Maio Mackay's debut feature, So Vam, was released in 2021, followed by Bad Girl Boogey the next year.
Her subsequent two features, T Blockers and Satranic Panic, premiered in 2023.
[6] Maio Mackay cites Gregg Araki as a major influence on her filmmaking and incorporates elements of camp into her work.
