After leaving the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts, Nordin studied in Paris before traveling around Europe.
Stories of her travels were published in Idun magazine.
[2] In 1911, Nordin became the first female sculptor to have an exhibition at Konstnärshuset.
[2] In 1926, she received the Swedish Royal medal Litteris et Artibus.
Her work was part of the sculpture event in the art competition at the 1932 Summer Olympics.
