Allamuchy Mountain State Park

[2] The 2,440 acres (9.9 km2) of mixed oak and hardwood forests and maintained fields of this natural area display various stages of succession.

The early 19th-century village contains a working mill with gristmills and sawmills, a general store, a blacksmith shop and restored houses.

[1] The Rutherfurd-Stuyvesant Estate dates back to the 1700s and featured a large mansion and many outbuildings.

By the mid 20th century, the mansion had burned down and the remaining buildings were in very poor condition.

In recent years, the estate has suffered from arson damage.
