Alton McCaskill IV (born April 10, 2003)[1] is an American college football running back for the Arizona State Sun Devils.

He was rated as a three-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Houston Cougars over schools such as Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.

[2][3] In week three of the 2021 season, McCaskill rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Grambling State.

[5] For his performance, he was named the American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year, and second-team all-conference.

[8] After not playing in the 2022 season, McCaskill entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
