Amal'eZulu

Amal'eZulu (Zulu Horizons) is a poetry book by Benedict Wallet Vilakazi.

He is considered the father of Zulu poetry.

Vilakazi drew on the izibongo (praise poetry) tradition, to critique urban life,[1] and to praise labourers.

[2][3][4][5] In 2023, Amal'ezulu was adapted into a stage play, by Pieter Bezuidenhout.
