Ambalappuzha is a small town in the Alappuzha district of Kerala state, India.

It is located 14 km (8.7 mi) south of Alappuzha which is the district headquarters.

Ambalappuzha rural village has an area of 9.18 km2 (3.54 sq mi) with 7,856 families residing in it.
