[19] In 2024, a tragic fire broke out at a building named "Green Cozy Cottage" in Dhaka's Bailey Road, resulting in the death of nearly fifty people.
Following the incident, the police filed a case against four individuals, including Amin Mohammad Group, identified as the building's owner.
[20][21][22] Later, Amin Mohammad Group issued a statement claiming that they were not the owner of the "Green Cozy Cottage" building but had only completed the construction project as a developer under a joint venture agreement.
