Ammar Ismail Yahia Ibrahim (born 18 September 1996) is a Qatari sprinter.
Ibrahim's first international competition was at the 2020 Turkish Athletics Championships, where he placed third in the 400 m but was not eligible for awards as a foreign national.
[3] On 9 February 2022, Ibrahim formally transferred eligibility from Sudan to Qatar.
[1][5] Ibrahim began the 2023 season by winning the Asian Indoor Championships in the 400 m, and taking silver in the 4 × 400 m. He edged out Mikhail Litvin by just 0.14 seconds to take the 400 m title, his first continental gold.
[7] Ibrahim then competed at the 2022 Asian Games (delayed to 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic), taking silver in the 4 × 400 relay by virtue of running in the heats.
