Amy Bogaard FBA is a Canadian archaeologist and Professor of Neolithic and Bronze Age Archaeology at the University of Oxford.
[1][2][3][4] Bogaard earned a PhD from the University of Sheffield in 2002, supervised by Glynis Jones.
[6] She currently is a stipendiary lecturer at St Peter's College,[7] and an external professor at the Santa Fe Institute.
[9] In 2013, Bogaard was awarded an ERC starter grant for the project The Agricultural Origins of Urban Civilization.
[10] In 2018, Bogaard was part of a team to win an ERC Synergy grant for the project Exploring the Dynamics and Causes of Prehistoric Land Use Change in the Cradle of European Farming.
