Anand Sivasubramaniam is Distinguished Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University.
[1] Anand did his schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, Nungambakkam, Chennai.
Anand completed his BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 1989 and earned his PhD from Georgia Tech in 1995 with Umakishore Ramachandran as his doctoral adviser.
He received the Penn State Department of Computer Science and Engineering Faculty Teaching award in 2003.
Anand teaches undergrad and graduate level operating systems CMPSC 473 and CSE 511.
