Andreea Cacovean

Cacovean made her international debut at the 1991 Junior Balkan Championships, and she won the silver medal in the all-around behind teammate Nadia Hațegan.

[7] She competed at the 1993 World Championships and won the bronze medal on the uneven bars behind Americans Shannon Miller and Dominique Dawes.

[9] She competed on the floor exercise and the uneven bars at the 1994 World Championships, but she did not advance past the qualification round.

[12] At a friendly meet against Germany, she helped the Romanian team win the gold medal, and she finished third in the all-around.

[13] She competed at the 1995 World Championships alongside Simona Amânar, Gina Gogean, Nadia Hațegan, Alexandra Marinescu, Lavinia Miloșovici, and Claudia Presăcan, and they won the gold medal in the team event.
