Andrew James Rudolph "Drew" Carpenter (born May 18, 1985), is an American former professional baseball pitcher.

A graduate of Long Beach State University, Carpenter has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres, and Toronto Blue Jays.

[2] The team assigned him to the Gulf Coast League Phillies, a rookie-league affiliate, where he appeared in two games before being promoted to short-season Batavia for the remainder of the season.

[4] Carpenter made his Major League debut that night, pitching the ninth inning in relief against the New York Mets.

[8] He was in 11 total games for the Phillies over parts of four seasons, while spending most of his time in AAA with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

The Blue Jays planned to designate Carpenter for assignment on July 21, 2012; however, Jason Frasor was placed on the DL instead.

The Oakland Athletics signed Carpenter to a minor league contract on August 12, 2013[15] and assigned him to the Double-A Midland RockHounds.

Carpenter signed with the Sugar Land Skeeters of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball for the 2015 season.
