Dismukes was hired as a writer for the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live in 2017, ahead of its 43rd season.
[3] He grew up in Port Neches, Texas, a small Gulf Coast city located near the Texas-Louisiana border.
[7] Dismukes began performing stand-up in 2013, while a freshman in college, and was active in the Austin comedy scene.
[6] He was the runner-up "Funniest Person in Austin" in 2016, a contest run by the Cap City Comedy Club.
[8] Upon graduating from college, Dismukes performed as part of the New Faces showcase at the Just for Laughs comedy festival and was subsequently offered an audition for Saturday Night Live.
