Andrew L. Osborn

Andrew Lawrence Osborn (May 27, 1815 – April 13, 1891) was a justice of the Indiana Supreme Court from December 16, 1872 to January 4, 1875.

[1] Born in New Haven County, Connecticut, Osborn received his early education in that state.

[3] In 1857 he was elected judge of the Circuit Court for the Ninth judicial district of Indiana, where he remained for thirteen years.

In 1872 he was appointed by Governor Conrad Baker to a seat on the Supreme Court of Indiana, to a term expiring in January, 1875.

He represented the Michigan Central Railroad Company from its organization until his death, a period of forty-one years.
