Richner was born in Detroit on July 4, 1961 and attended school in Grosse Pointe.
Richner was an intern in the Office of the White House Counsel under President Ronald Reagan.
[1] Richner won election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 1996 and served three terms.
[4][5] Richner is a member of the Clark Hill law firm in Detroit, working in its government and public affairs practice group.
[6] Richner was a delegate to the 2004 Republican National Convention which nominated George W. Bush for a second term as President of the United States.
