Andrew William Rutherford (9 March 1842 – 11 November 1918) was a Liberal Party Member of Parliament in New Zealand.
Rutherford was born in 1842 in New South Wales, probably near Tumut, to Scottish parents.
In 1862, he took charge of another farm, Mendip Hills, on behalf of his father and of Alfred Domett.
[1] Rutherford represented the Amuri electorate on the Nelson Provincial Council from 1869 to 1871.
