Andrey Selivanov (chess player)

From 1990 to 1992, he was the newspaper's Заря Урала ("Ural Dawn") social department head.

In 1990, Selivanov was elected as member of the Sverdlovsk region of Krasnoturinsk City Council.

In this office, he worked until 1993, when he was elected as deputy of the Russian State Duma.

In 1994, Selivanov was elected as Vice President of the Russian Chess Federation.

In 2003, in Moscow, Selivanov won the individual and team World Chess Solving Championship.
