Andrew John Carter[1] JP (born 25 January 1974)[2] is a British Conservative Party politician who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Warrington South from 2019 to 2024.
After leaving radio he worked in a family business and ran a consultancy firm.
[7] In June 2024 he announced that he had changed his mind, and was re-selected as the Conservative candidate for Warrington South at the 2024 general election.
[8] Carter lives in Lymm with his wife, Aggie, and a son, Harry.
