She attended Northern Kentucky University's School of Arts for three years before pursuing a scholarship at Disney Orlando.
In 1991, while still working at Disney, she auditioned for the Broadway show The Will Rogers Follies and booked the job and debuted as a swing.
[3] She then went on to replace in shows such as, Crazy for You, Sunset Boulevard, Annie Get Your Gun and Young Frankenstein.
After touring from 2002 to 2003 with the company, she returned to Broadway in 2003 and served as the permanent Ulla replacement until the show closed in 2007.
