Anisancylus dutrae is a species of small, freshwater, air-breathing limpet, an aquatic pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Planorbidae, the ram's horn snails and their allies.
[1][3] The species' type locality is the Tapacurá Ecological Station in São Lourenço da Mata, Pernambuco.
The protoconch shows an apical depression and a small flat area, followed by irregularly arranged punctuations.
The mantle is pigmented, generally dark brown or black, except in the areas of muscle insertion (foot and tentacles).
[2][3] A. dutrae is found attached to the upper surface of stones in lotic habitats (such as small, fast-flowing streams).
