Anita Tack

Anita Tack (born 4 April 1951) is a German politician who is a member of The Left.

In 1969, Tack began studying city building and territory planning at the Bauhaus University in Weimar.

In 1994, she became a member of the Landtag of Brandenburg in the 2nd voting period, acting as regional and traffic-political spokeswoman for the PDS faction, as well as chairing the Committee on Urban Development, Housing and Transport.

[3] After the Landtag election of 2009 and the following government change, from November 2009 until the year 2014, she was the Minister of the Environment, Health, and Consumer Protection in the third cabinet of Matthias Platzeck.

In the 6th voting period, she is the Speaker of her faction for city development, construction, housing, and traffic.
