Ann Lee (Chinese: 李淯) is a Hong Kong-born American author and commentator on global economics and finance issues.
Lee was born in Hong Kong to Chinese parents who had escaped from the turmoil of the early years of the PRC; subsequently the family emigrated to the United States.
[1] After working for two investments banks, she became a hedge fund partner and a trader in credit derivatives.
The book was described in The Economist magazine as "calling for a less hostile approach towards the rising Asian power".
