Anstrud was the daughter of Waratto, Mayor of the Palace of Neustria and Burgundy, and Ansflede.
Anstrud first married Berchar, the successor to her father Waratto.
Pepin followed them and eventually forced a peace treaty with the condition that Berthar leave his office.
