António de Almeida-Ribeiro (born 22 August 1955 in Lisbon, Portugal) is a Portuguese diplomat and acting Secretary General of The International Dialogue Centre – KAICIID, an intergovernmental organization dedicated to interreligious and intercultural dialogue.
António de Almeida Ribeiro graduated from the University of Coimbra in 1976 with a degree in law.
António de Almeida Ribeiro joined the Portuguese ministry of foreign affairs in 1979.
[1] For more than twenty years he served as an officer and in management positions in the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign affairs and in overseas postings in Rome, Praia, and London.
He served a term on the International Board of Auditors of the Defense College of NATO.
