Anthony J. DiSilvestro (May 15, 1904 – May 3, 1969) was an American pharmacist, lawyer, and politician who served in the Pennsylvania State Senate from 1937 to 1966, including two years as president pro tempore from January 1961 through 1962.
DiSilvestro was a Democrat and Temple University alumnus with deep roots in the Philadelphia Italian-American community.
He owned a Philadelphia pharmacy for forty-five years and edited and published a Philadelphia-based Italian-American weekly.
He also backed legislation advancing conservation, clean food, fair labor practices, education, highway construction, and penal code reform.
