Antoine de Gramont, 4th Duke of Gramont

French military figure and member of the House of Gramont, he was the oldest child of Antoine Charles IV de Gramont and Marie Charlotte de Castelnau (1648 – 29 January 1694), daughter of Marshal Castelnau.

He participated in the Siege of Philippsburg (1688) and the Battle of Landen (1693).

In 1704, he made lieutenant of the royal arms and, on 26 October 1704, Colonel General of the French guards.

In 1715, he became Counselor of Regents and War and in 1720, acquired the title of Duke of Gramont.
