[7][8] On April 1, 2020, Candia-Bailey became the first vice president of student affairs and chief diversity officer at Elms College.
[3] On January 8, 2024, she sent an email to president John B. Moseley alleging that he had subjected her to months of harassment, bullying, and racial discrimination.
