Anton Amann (20 June 1956 – 6 January 2015) was an Austrian chemist and Professor of chemistry at the Innsbruck Medical University.
From 1987 to 1995 he was a senior research associate at the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the ETH Zürich.
In 1995 he was awarded an APART grant from the Austrian Academy of Sciences and he also received an invitation to join Yale University as associate professor.
In 2005 he was chairman and organizer of the international conference Breath Analysis for Clinical Diagnosis and Therapeutic Monitoring.,[7] Innsbruck (Austria).
In 2004 he was chairman and organizer of the international conference Breath Gas Analysis for Medical Diagnostics.,[8] Dornbirn (Austria).
