[3][4] On 21 July 1622, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Gregory XV as Archbishop of Durrës.
[2][3] On 17 September 1623, he was consecrated bishop by Philibert François Milliet de Faverges, Archbishop of Turin, with Carlo Argentero, Bishop of Mondovi, serving as co-consecrator.
[3] On 19 January 1632, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Urban VIII as Archbishop of Turin.
