The Arauz Formation is an Emsian fossiliferous stratigraphic unit in Spain.

It is situated in the Province of Palencia, North Spain.

It is in the north of Natural Park of Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente Cobre-Montaña Palentina where the Rio Arauz lies.
