Archdiocese of Mandalay is located in the central part of Myanmar.

The archdiocese has the suffragan dioceses of Myitkyina, Banmaw, Lashio and Hakha.

Ethnic groups in the city include Myanmar, Kayin, Karen, Tamil and Chinese.

Marco Tin Win was installed as archbishop on 23 June 2019.
